Our Baby Trixie :)

Monday, June 11, 2012 is the day we got to meet the new addition to our family! She is the perfect fit for us and we are sooo happy we found her!
We had been wanting a puppy for quite a while but weren't allowed to have one in our apartment so we stopped looking at puppies cause it was just torture! However, since we bought a new house and were moving soon we started up the search again. Everything we found online was either a scam or way too much money. We had our minds set on a French Bulldog because they are great indoor dogs (And seeing as how we were moving to AZ we didn't want an outside dog...they would burn up!) they aren't yappy dogs, great with kids, funny personality, and great companion dogs. We were just about to give up cause nothing was working out. Then we got a call from a friend of a friend who was down in Texas with his girlfriend and they had just bought a puppy and remembered hearing that we wanted the same kind. He said they had one female left, full bred and 6 weeks old. He said if we wanted her he would pick her up for us and fly her back with him...and seeing as how this was the best deal we have found, we said YES!
She was Just over 7 weeks when we got her. Pictures just don't do justice on how cute she is!

And she did GREAT on the car ride to AZ! We gave her a little benedryl to help :) Sometimes she thinks she's a cat, and I was cracking up when she decided to sit on my shoulder and look out the window in the car!

She keeps us so entertained everyday, there is never a dull moment with her and we are ALWAYS laughing at something she does! Her favorite treat is popcorn...her little nose just goes crazy when she smells it popping!

She is great prep for kids too...she follows me around the kitchen and whines at me if I'm not holding her. She loves to watch me cook haha. She loves being held like a baby, always has to be touching you when she falls asleep on the couch...she gets crazy when she's tired and tries everything to fight falling asleep! She is pretty much completely potty trained now. She was actually pretty potty trained at our apartment but got all thrown off in the new house with so much room to run around! I took her in for her 12 week shots July 16th and she was a whole 8 1/4 pounds and no longer has puppy breath :( We are amazed everyday how much she has already grown since we have had her. And as we speak, she is snoring away on my lap as I sit here blogging :) We just love her!!
