1 year!

Wow, I can't believe we've already been married for a whole year! Seems like just weeks ago I was still planning the wedding! This year has been great though, I love married life more than anything! It's like....I always loved playing "house" when I was a little girl, and now I get to do it in real life everyday! But man is this so much better! I could not have asked for a better husband. Sean is so hard working, caring and loving. He does everything he can to make me happy and I love him more than anything!
For our anniversary we spent a couple nights up in Park City. We had a BLAST!! We got up there a little after 3 and checked into our hotel..."Park City Peaks" We weren't incredibly impressed with the hotel, pretty old and smelled kinda funny, small room too, but the KING size bed was awesome and so comfy! I never realize how small a Queen is till we get something like that for a couple nights! However, every time you even leaned on the bed the lights would go out so you'd have to move around again till they came back on haha, pretty funny! And I was planning on the room to have a mini fridge because I brought chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider! (The hotel had a "Romance package" you could add on and get that stuff from them, but it was like $50! So I brought my own and made the strawberries fancy with white chocolate stripes over the milk chocolate!) Even borrowed some fancy glasses from my friend. But, they didn't! So we left them on top of the cooler and went to hit the outlet mall :) The Adidas outlet was our favorite!! I got a pair of shoes for $10 that were originally $50+ and Sean got a good pair too! SOOOO cheap! We spent about 3 hours walking around there, then decided it was dinner time! So we looked up an Italian restaurant and found "Cicero's" on historic main street (which is AWESOME!) Best calamari I've ever had in my life! Saturday we had breakfast in the little restaurant in our hotel (which was okay) then we went to "Olympic Park" which was so cool!
The USA and Canada teams were there training so we got to watch them do the ski jumps! And since there wasn't snow up there, they landed in a pool!
Then we went to Alpine park and rode the Alpine Slide and the roller coaster which was soooo fun! But after spending SOO much time waiting in line for both of those we decided to leave and find some food :) Back to main street, we had Red Banjo Pizza and hot wings, not too bad! Saw a little theater a couple shops down and saw they had a Stand up comedy show that night! So we got tickets! We were a little worried cause some stand up shows are a little..well...not so clean. But this one was AWESOME! The MC and the opening guy weren't so great, but the headliner, Karen Rontowski was HILARIOUS! Look her up if you get a chance! Sunday we decided to go somewhere else for breakfast since our hotel breakfast wasn't so great (They made biscuits and gravy with BACON and not sausage...who does that??) And who would have known, Park city doesn't have a Denny's, IHOP, or anything! But we did find a couple places on main street that serve breakfast so we went to "Bandits Bar and Grill", pretty good breakfast actually! Then spent a little while walking up and down Main street. They had "Park City Silly Days" with a ton of booths and stuff with fun things to look at! Like....this knitted car cover haha. What the heck! These two ladies were just sitting on the ground knitting away! After that, we headed back home and relaxed for the rest of the day! Then on Monday, we decided to do some MORE shopping for Labor day sales, and American Eagle had 40% off the entire store! So yeah...we got some more stuff! I loved having the whole weekend with my husband!! It was great to not have to stress about anything and just enjoy each other! But now he's back to the work/school routine. It went WAY too fast!
This is the only picture we had of ourselves from the whole weekend!! haha how sad...horrible picture too! This was while we were on the ski lift headed up to ride the slide down. We need our personal photographer (MOTHER!) to follow us around and take pictures of everything we do!
