We FINALLY got everything worked out with our insurance so I could get in to see the doctor! I will be 8 weeks tomorrow so I was getting pretty antsy about being able to get in. I called them the minute I got off the phone with the insurance and they had an opening the same day in an hour! We were really hoping to be able to have an ultrasound today since I was so far along but this was just a normal exam. Sean was pretty bummed to, but we got that scheduled for Monday :) We are so excited to be able to hear our little baby's heart beat! It will feel more real to me then I think. It will make all this sickness and constant tiredness make sense! Both our moms keep saying we are going to see TWINS on the ultrasound haha. I don't know about that...but I guess we will see in just a few day!
I am so excited about the doctor office that we were able to go to. I was afraid with the insurance we were on that we would only be able to go to a very select few doctors. But these are apparently the best doctors in town! And i love that their office doesn't FEEL like a doctors office. In the front they have beautiful hard wood floors, nice couches and fancy rugs. The bathrooms were all tile with beautiful granite countertops...and even in the actual doctors room where the exam took place had granite counters! AAANNND...When I was leaving they gave me a gift certificate for a FREE pedicure! I love this place :)
