11 weeks (as of yesterday)

Almost finished with my 1st trimester! YAY! I've gotta say though, I've had a pretty good pregnancy so far! I have talked to people who were sooo sick the ENTIRE 9 months of pregnancy, ones who gained 20-30 pounds in their first trimester, and ones who just HATE being pregnant! So I'm going to brag a little bit...my morning sickness is pretty much completely over with as of about 10 weeks. I haven't gained a pound yet and I've been able to start jogging again :) and my skin hasn't broken out at all! Guess I'm just one of the lucky ones ;) Although I am still tired a lot, I get about 9 hours of sleep a night plus a nap during the day and I'm fine.
Cravings are a weird thing. I haven't wanted anything really crazy (like pickles in ice cream or anything), but all I want right now are cheeseburgers with fries dipped in ranch, and fruit loops (Not together..gross). The first week I found out I was pregnant (about week 5-6) all I wanted was veggies. I drank a V8 everyday and snacked on carrots and baby tomatoes. Week 6-8 was fruit...all kinds! Fresh fruit, fruit smoothies, fruit juice, especially fresh peaches sliced up in a bowl covered in evaporated milk and a spoonful of sugar! Since about week 8, I only want red meat. Cheeseburgers and a steak smothered in A1 sauce...YUMM!! The steak is one thing I haven't had yet, but I will! Which I find kind of strange cause almost everyone I have talked to can't stand meat when they are pregnant. And now I have to have a bowl of Fruit Loops every night before bed...which is also really weird since we NEVER used to buy that sugary cereal. I still try to eat as healthy as possible, but a lot of veggies now just gross me out so I bought some of the V8 fusion juice that just taste like fruit juice.
Our next doctors appointment is on the 22nd, which I thought was another ultrasound, but I guess it's just a regular appointment...BUMMER! But hopefully we only have 5 weeks to go till we find out if it's a boy or girl! WOOHOO!
