I'm engaged!!

Yes that's right...ENGAGED! I had NO idea it was coming! I mean, not that I haven't thought about it or anything...and I knew I wanted to marry him...but I was completely shocked! We hadn't even talked about marriage or anything!


So here is how the night went..

Sean and I went over to his coach's house for a BBQ with all the throwers on the track team. We stayed there for a little while and played a Swedish yard game "Kubb" (SO FUN!) after we were finished eating and then sat around just talking for a while. When we left, we wanted to try this new frozen yogurt place "Spoon it up" that his friends were telling us about, so we stopped for some and just hung out there and ate it. We were trying to decide what to do after that since it is Sean's last night in town till SUNDAY (He leaves in the morning to go to Texas for Regionals for track). We decided to watch Sherlock Holmes, but we were going to watch it at my place because "his roommates were watching the game". So we stopped at his place to "pick up the movie" and I waited in the car. Sean called me a couple minutes later saying that someone must have borrowed the movie because it wasn't there and I should just come inside and help him pick something else out for us to watch. So I go inside and I see candles and rose petals leading up the stairs. I am just NOW realizing that he is going to propose...but it didn't seem real. So I make it up to the living room and there are candles all around and there Sean is right in the middle of all of them. All I could think to say was "THIS isn't me helping you find a movie!" He laughs and I go over and give him the biggest hug ever! He starts getting teary eyed (in a very manly way of course) and just seems like he's trying to find his words, then he pulls away and just looks at me and says "Babe, will you marry me??" Of course I say yes right away and he looks at me and says "you don't even want to think about it?" me..."NOPE!" and then he gets down on his knee and pulls out the ring and puts it on my finger. I am STILL in shock! Then he says "I'm sorry that was so lame...I had so much I wanted to say but the moment I saw you walk in my mind went blank!". Then he pulled out 2 wine glasses and pours some sparkling cider. My sister was there the whole time taking pictures of the whole thing! I didn't even notice she was there for a few minutes I was so caught up in the moment!
We both have always been the ones to want to wait and have a longer relationship before getting engaged, but he told me when he was talking to my dad (Yes...he even called my Dad and asked for his permission!!) that he already had his answer about me and couldn't stand waiting any longer! And I am sooo glad he didn't!

We are actually moving to WA within the next few weeks to be with my family and work for the summer till the end of August. Sean will be working for Kevin at his auto body shop and I am still in the process of finding a job. But now this works out GREAT! I can be with my mom to help me plan the wedding! We set the date for Thursday September 2nd in Utah. We haven't decided which temple yet..either the Timpanogos, Draper, or the Oquirrh temple. More details to come later!

Ps...I'm engaged! I have a fiance...and I am going to be a WIFE!! I am SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!
