We are having a BOY!!!

 

I was so sure we were having a girl that I was shocked when she said it was a boy, but we are THRILLED!! Couldn't be happier :) The ultrasound tech thought he was a girl at first cause he was sitting in a weird position and the umbilical cord was covering him. He was being VERY stubborn and didn't want to move! Then the tech noticed he had BOTH hands down there and said she wanted to check again cause that usually means it is a boy haha. And sure enough, when he moved his hands we knew for SURE he was a boy! He wouldn't stop showing off after that! But then he was being a stinker and put both his hands over his face so they couldn't get the measurements they needed of his head or fingers and they couldn't get a good face shot to give us, so we have to go back again next week and do another ultrasound...Dang! ;) I was really excited cause now we get to see our baby again! They said everything looks great and he was measuring at exactly 18 weeks so we are right on schedule. His heartbeat was 147 beats/minute. It was so cool to see his little feet, legs and bum! I can't believe this tiny little boy is inside me! Sometimes I forget I am even pregnant so it was so cool to get to see him moving around in there. I just can't wait till he starts kicking more!

On sunday we ordered a crib, dresser and changing table from overstock.com...which I was a little leery about since I have never ordered anything from there before, but the reviews were all FANTASTIC so we thought we would give it a try. And we got all three pieces for $297 with free shipping! You can't even find a crib for that price in store! I love black friday/cyber monday deals. To our surprise...all three showed up at our door YESTERDAY!! Sean and DJ are going to set them up tonight and I am soo excited to see it all put together!

  We also ordered this playpen/bassinet on amazon with a great black friday deal :) It has pretty much everything! Changing table, bassinet, diaper/wipe holder, and it plays music and vibrates!

I am going crazy looking at baby boy clothes and ways to decorate our little mans nursery! Sean and his brother or maybe his dad are going to do some wainscoting in the room which I am really excited about. I would do that throughout our whole house if we could! Maybe eventually...:)

And of course, a blog post wouldn't be complete without a prego shot...

Don't mind the dirty mirror, I wasn't going to post this cause it is a horrible picture, but it really showed how big my tummy is getting! This was about a week and a half ago right before 17 weeks!
