Quiet Book

Being on bedrest had me constantly on Pinterest looking at little crafts I wanted to do. I came across this Quiet Book and decided I wanted to try it! Luckily my mom pretty much has a craft store in her basement and said she would send me a bunch of felt! I didn't have scissors that would cut the felt in zigzag so she cut all the pages out for me and punched out templates for the letters on her cricket so I had a little kit! The blog with the book didn't have any patterns but I figured it looked simple enough to draw out my own. Some of the pages were harder than others since there are little pieces but I did it! Once I got all the letters and patterns cut out it really wasn't that hard! And since I was still on bedrest this was the perfect thing to keep me occupied and I just whipped through it! I did some of the pages a little different than hers, but for the most part I just copied it! Seeing as how I have never attempted anything like this and the most sewing I have ever really done by hand is sewing a button on a shirt or patching up holes in jeans, I think it turned out pretty good! And yes...I sewed this whole thing BY HAND!! Be impressed :)

Kaylee! This is SO cute!! I can't believe you didn't even have patterns! I definitely might copy some of these page ideas when I finally get around to making Jack's quiet book.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen! Way to go! and BY HAND??!! You've got to be kdding! That's amazing! I have one in pieces in a plastic bag in my craft bin, it's been there for almost 3 years. Haha. Can you do it for me?! j/k!
